STILLPADPlain terms.
These terms are an agreement between you and Perry Hampton ("we", "us") for the Stillpad app. By installing or using Stillpad you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two conflict, these terms govern as far as Apple's agreement allows.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Stillpad on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's usage rules. The app, its sounds, and its design are ours or our licensors'. You may use the pads, drums, and any audio you make with the app in your performances, services, recordings, and streams without attribution or further permission. You may not resell or redistribute the app's sound files as a library or sound pack.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Stillpad Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the Pro features on all your devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
- Stillpad+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings. Content you own, including Stillpad Pro, stays yours if you cancel.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change for new purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy.
Your content
Setlists, songs, chord charts, presets, and samples you create or import are yours. Make sure you have the right to use any chart or sample you bring into the app. We don't store your content on our servers; if you enable iCloud sync it is stored in your own iCloud account.
Live use
Stillpad is designed for live performance and we work hard on reliability, but no software is perfect. Test your setup before a service, keep volume at a safe level, and have a plan if a device fails. We are not responsible for a missed cue, a dropped pad, or hearing damage from excessive volume.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, tamper with purchase verification, or use the app to infringe anyone's rights. Don't use the Follow feature to interfere with other people's sessions.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Stillpad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end your license if you breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we are based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
