STILLPADWe don't collect your data.
The short version. Stillpad has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything you make in the app stays on your device unless you turn on iCloud sync, in which case it goes to your own iCloud. We never see it.
What the app stores on your device
- Your setlists, songs, chord charts, and pad presets.
- Drum kits, patterns, and any audio samples you import.
- Settings such as tone, click, routing, and your display name for Follow.
- A record of what you've purchased, cached from the App Store so the app works offline.
Deleting the app deletes all of it.
iCloud sync (Stillpad+)
If you subscribe to Stillpad+ and are signed in to iCloud, your setlists, songs, and pad presets are stored in your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, lives in your Apple account, and is not accessible to us. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Turning off iCloud for Stillpad in iOS Settings stops sync; the app keeps working locally.
Follow (team sync in the room)
Follow lets one device lead and others follow the key and song during a service. It uses your local Wi-Fi network only, through Apple's peer-to-peer networking. The display name you choose and the current key and song are shared with the devices in your session. Nothing is sent to the internet and nothing is stored by us.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. To verify what you own, the app reads your App Store receipt on the device.
Planning Center import
If a future version offers Planning Center import and you choose to sign in, Stillpad asks Planning Center for your service plans and stores the sign-in token in the device keychain. We do not receive or store your Planning Center data on any server of ours. You can disconnect at any time from the import screen.
Local network, microphone, files
iOS will ask for local network permission the first time you use Follow. Stillpad does not use the microphone or camera. When you import a sample or a chord chart, the file you pick is copied into the app; nothing else on your device is read.
Children
Stillpad is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because we collect nothing, changes would only ever describe new on-device or iCloud features.
